Government whistleblower programs allow whistleblowers to recover a percentage of the money that the government recovers as a result of the whistleblower’s information.
As a general rule, that percentage can be as high as 30%. The actual award will depend on many factors, including the quality and utility of the work performed by the whistleblower’s attorneys in support of the government’s investigation.
